Afghan aid workers raise security after killing
The killing of the foreign relief worker who preached the Christianity in Kabul contributed to thinking over the security arrangements again by the Afghanistan government. The woman who was killed by the Taliban served the charity institution to help those who are physically disabled and are poor. The Taliban admitted their crime and the purpose of what they did was to prevent those relief workers from engaging in the charitable works. Therefore, this behavior makes the situation and the moment more critical so that relief workers have misgivings about their safe factors and the status of affairs in Kabul now. Under this emergency, they are forced to change their thinking and the direction about it. They consider going to other regions and continuing their works on charity if it is too dangerous to stay in Kabul. They devote themselves to people who really need others’ help in Afghanistan. And they care about those people who are ignored by others with sincere hearts. Moreover, they do not regret their decision of serving in Afghanistan. The only thing they want to do is to make efforts to aid poor people wholeheartedly without any hesitation. Despite of the threat and hardship around them, they will not give up hopes and not succumb to dangers in chaotic surroundings. They decide to go through it with courage and do not allow the despair to strike them down. Under no circumstances will they abandon the resolution of the works they do. The most respectful thing for me is that they do not regard their lives as the first importance but the need of the poor. That is an extremely noble dream that demands the soul, firm resolution, confidence, and great courage to attain it. This goal is indeed rocky and is a difficult step for the relief workers. But their belief enlightens the concept about the charity and inspires the thinking of related issue. The range it will influence includes one region, a country, or even the whole world. Above all, I think we should learn their spirits and attitudes toward it with positive concept to enrich our life knowledge and the perspective. (357 words)
